URGENT VACANCY FOR THE POST OF CHARTERED ARCHITECT

Position: Chartered Architect

Location: Maldives (Male & Hulhumale)

Experiences & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized university

• Must hold Chartered Architect Certification (RIBA, AIA, or equivalent)

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in architectural design, planning, and execution

• Proven experience working on luxury villa, resort, hospitality, and high-end residential projects

• Must have handled projects valued at USD 100 million or more

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, Rhino, and other architectural software

• Strong knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows

• Expertise in structural coordination, MEP integration, and sustainable design

Job Role:

• Lead the architectural design process from concept development to project completion

• Develop innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective architectural solutions

• Ensure compliance with international building codes, local regulations, and sustainability standards

• Review and approve conceptual, schematic, and detailed design drawings

• Coordinate with civil engineers, MEP consultants, interior designers, and project managers to ensure design integrity

• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure projects adhere to design specifications and quality standards

• Ensure all projects meet local Maldivian construction regulations, zoning laws, and environmental policies

• Supervise the selection of materials, finishes, and construction methodologies aligned with international standards

• Conduct risk assessments and troubleshoot design-related challenges in large-scale projects

• Work closely with clients, investors, and developers to translate their vision into functional and aesthetically appealing designs

• Present design concepts, feasibility reports, and technical justifications to stakeholders

• Collaborate with procurement teams to source high-quality materials for luxury projects

• Integrate eco-friendly, energy-efficient, and sustainable design principles into projects

• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, innovative construction techniques, and smart building technologies

• Implement modular and prefabricated construction methods where applicable to improve efficiency
